West Neck, Gold Star Battalion, Crescent, Fleets Cove, Centerport,
Hobart, Asharoken, and Crab Meadow beaches are open to the public May through September from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week. Lifeguard protection is available everyday from 10 AM to 6 PM. If you have any questions the Main Beach Office number is 261-7574.
FEES: $20 for seasonal beach permit available to residents only.
Vehicle registration is required and permits may be purchased at the beaches. These permits are non-transferable and are required on each vehicle. They will not be replaced if lost or stolen If a resident chooses not to purchase a seasonal beach permit for their vehicle, they may take advantage of the daily $10 vehicle parking fee upon showing identification. There is a Non-Resident Daily $15 Vehicle Parking Fee. These daily permits are sold at all beaches.
We are also only about 20 minutes away from the Ocean. Jones Beach and Robert Moses State Park are two beaches that are open to the public on the south shore of Long Island. Parking is $5 a day or you can purchase a season ticket.
